We are seeking your assistance in recruiting qualified and certified DBE subcontractors, and material and/or equipment suppliers for all areas of work, including, but not limited to, those listed below:

100% bonding may be required for all subcontractors. Assistance available in obtaining bonds, lines of credit, insurance, necessary equipment, supplies, materials or related assistance or services and technical assistance. Flexible time frames for performance, delivery and breaking out portions of work into economically feasible packages may be discussed. Subcontractors are required to be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR), as required by Public Contract Code Section 1725.5, please furnish DIR Number with your quote submittal.

Work performed under this Contract shall be in compliance with and subject to Federal Highway Administration Funding Agency Provisions identified in the bid, including but not limited to all applicable equal opportunity laws and regulations, conditions of the Davis-Bacon Act 29 CFR Parts 1, 3 and 5 and Copeland Act 29 CFR Part 3 by reference. Compliance to Buy America Requirements – all iron and steel products used in the project will be and/or have been produced in the United States in a manner that complies with the requirements stipulated in Section 6-1.04 in Division I of the Caltrans Standard Specifications (reference Attachment D of the bid specification).
Conditions or exceptions in Subcontractor’s quote are expressly rejected unless accepted in writing.
