Otay Water District
The Otay Water District (District) will require the professional services of a civil engineering firm to provide engineering design services for five (5) projects.  The Projects include the replacement of approximately 8,000 linear feet of various diameter (4-14 inch) potable water pipelines at various locations within the District with newly designed pipelines.  Some pipelines may require new alignments.  The general scope of work for the Project includes, but is not limited to, the following:

  • Preliminary Design Report Preparation

  • Construction Contract Documents Preparation

  • Investigation of Existing Conditions and Facilities

  • Professional Surveying and Potholing

  • County or City of Chula Vista Permitting

  • Bidding Assistance

  • Construction Support


Interested candidates are required to e-mail a Letter of Interest (LOI) and a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to the District’s Project Manager, Kevin Cameron, P.E., at no later than Monday, October 22, 2018.  Request for Proposal (RFP) materials will be e-mailed to qualified firms on Tuesday, October 23, 2018.  If a firm has submitted a SOQ to the District within the last 18 months and the qualifications remain current and accurate, then only a Letter of Interest is required. 

Questions from consultants to discuss the RFP must be in writing, via e-mail, to the District’s Project Manager.  Any clarification, amendment, or changes to the RFP will be in writing and sent to all consultants proposing on the professional engineering design services.

San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG)
The San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) is seeking proposals from qualified firms for professional services to conduct triennial performance audits of SANDAG and public transit operators as required by the Transportation Development Act (TDA) of 1971.

The audit will be done in fiscal year 2019 and will cover fiscal years FY 2015-16, 2016-17, and 2017-18. There is an option to perform a second audit in fiscal year 2022 that will cover fiscal years FY2018-19, FY2019-20, and FY2020-21.

Southwestern Community College District
Notice is hereby given by the Southwestern Community College District (SCCD) of San Diego County, California, hereinafter referred to as the District, acting by and through its Governing Board, will receive up to, but not later than 2:00 PM on Friday, November 9, 2018, responses to this Request for Proposal (RFP) for Host Services for the Small Business Development Center(s) and Micro-Centers for the Southwestern Community College District.

A Pre-Proposal meeting will be held at 2:00PM on Thursday, October 18, 2018 in Room 1651 at 900 Otay Lakes Rd., Chula Vista, CA 91910.

The SCCD, host for the San Diego and Imperial Small Business Development Center Regional Network (SDI-SBDC Network), is seeking proposals from qualified applicant organizations to provide Host Services for the Small Business Development Center(s) and Micro-Centers, serving San Diego County. The SBDC delivers defined business development support services to existing and emerging businesses.

Responses shall be received in the Office of Procurement, Central Services & Risk Management, Room 1651 located at 900 Otay Lakes Road, Chula Vista, CA 91910, on the date and at the time stated above.

All responses to this RFP shall conform and be responsive to the RFP, including its attachments/addenda.
