NCMA: Government Property Technical Applications


The purpose of this seminar is to provide analysis of the complexities regarding Government property
provided to contractors. There are EXTENSIVE requirements imposed upon the Government AND the
Contractor in regard to the MANAGEMENT of Government Property.

Topics will include:

  • Government Property in the Acquisition Process including:
    Preaward Issues for both Government and Industry
    Title provisions – who owns what, when and why?
  • Subcontractor Management with Government Property, what exactly does the PRIME need to do!
  • Delivery of Contractor Acquired Property within the Department of Defense Requirements
    Predisposal Determinations - Credit/Debit/Material Management Accounting System,
    Reporting to the Contracting Officer – Various Methods
  • Disposition on Government Property including Transfers
